Every Saturday 7.30 am we do the ceremony of taking refuge in Triple Gem & observing 8 or 5 precepts. 10.30 am is Almsoffering & Dhammatalk

Open Meditation Sessions

Unguided sessions without any of the monks present, allowing individual practice for anyone interested to just sit or walk meditation.

Every Day Alms Offering, Blessing & Dhamma Discussion

The meal offering at 10.00 am is usually the easiest opportunity to visit the monastery for the first time. Don't feel shy and just drop in!

Dhammagiri Sundays

Every Sunday 10.30 am we have almsoffering and shared meal followed by a Dhamma talk. At 3.00 pm there's chanting, meditation & reflections

The Refuge and Precepts Ceremonies

The ceremonies at 7:30 am on Saturdays and 9:00 am Sundays closest to the Full Moon are not only for those observing 8 precepts. You may prefer to commit to the 5 precepts instead.

Both 8 and 5 precepts recitation is included in our ceremonies.

The precepts are not commandments, but 'training steps' ('sikkhā-pada') that one voluntary undertakes to protect oneself and others from harm, and to purify one's heart.
